Good morning! I'm glad to hear that you're not willing to just blindly accept the traditions of man. As for pants on women, I don't think there is a clear answer in God's Word. Personally, my daughters and I don't wear them, but I do not think is is a sin to do so. And, yes, I think what we wear depends greatly on culture. In the Bible times, men and women wore robes, however, they were distinctly different. In many Asian cultures, women have worn a form of pants for decades, but again, they were distinctly different. I wrote a post on this issue of Biblical modesty on our family blog here's the link: http://reachingtheloveless.blogspot.com/2010/01/modesty.html

You see, in North America, woman, for the most part, started wearing pants in rebellion against the traditional female roles. Today, you can buy pants for woman and men and they are becoming a part of our culture, but the link to feminism is still strong. Whether or not pants are an issue for you is something only the Holy Spirit and your husband can help you decide. What is important is that you are following God's standards of modesty and femininity. I hope it helps. I'm glad to have a sister in the Lord like you.

Thank you sister :-)
Well, I guess I have to learn much from you! Btw, what is feminism?? (is that mean being feminine?).
Obviously in my country woman wear trousers because it is easier working on the paddy field, riding bicycle, doing lots of other work with it without exposing bits you don't want to other to see LOLs.

Feminism is when a woman tries to prove that she is equal or greater in authority than a man. It started when women were treated unfairly at work and had no right to vote. The problem is that it has gotten out of control to the point that men are often considered inferior to women and even God-fearing women have problems with the role God has given us. In God eyes men and woman are equal in worth but have been given different levels of authority snd responsibility. Feminism ignores God's design for womanhood and takes man's responsibility as her own. Does that make sense?

Thank you for your encouraging words. I'm enjoying learning about your culture. Isn't it great that although we are all different, we serve the same God and can have unity? God bless and have a great day.

Hi sister Julie,

Thank you once again :-) yes, that's does make sense!
Well, I am hoping one day we might meet in person, but if not, we'll see each other in heaven. Thank you for being such a blessing!
