I am taking a break from blogging as preparation for this holiday season.
Blogging will resume round about 20th January. Till then everyone! I wish you all have a wonderful Christmas celebration. Remembering Jesus, the perfect gift for human kind.
I really lost word on what to say. Even though, I must be the third person whom spend the most time with her (after my parents of course), I don't know what to say about my own sister.
My sister and I split ways in 1995, that year practically ended our "living together" lifestyle eversince I moved to my grandparents house for further study. I hardly talk to her eversince. Then we are reunited "spiritually" after she (and I) accept Lord Jesus as our Saviour through different church. Then we often talk about our commonality in vision and hope for eternity. Little did I know that even my parents never fond of photography, me and my sister develop a liking to it at our own pace. She is currently shooting with Canon EOS 350D, mainly just for fun purpose. I am sure after I passed her my 50mm f/1.8 lens, she will be able to experiment more... for the furtherance of God's word.
Yes, today we mark the 50th entries. I never imagine that it is actually possible to have this many images in such a short time. I would like to thank the Lord for this opportunity and of course many contributors who had made this project possible.
I must admit this is a very strange encounter. Erwin and Irma is friends of my sister (whom I had never know in real life nor in cyber world). So few hours ago I received few mail from them, my sister introduced me to both of them and few chains of email bounces accross to another side of the globe.
Thank God for internet, Sydney seems to be closer than driving to Oxford or Cambrige! Anyway, I still know very little about them, all I can say is they have a heart to serve the Lord with their talents, and that's why they approached me.
They are mostly shooting with Canon 40D, 17-40mm f/1.4 L lately using Canon 5D mkii 24-70mm f/2.8 L.
I've notice that both Erwin and Irma like to take a picture with light as the subject, which is good since so far this blog only having loads of landscape, flowers and insect as its main collection.
I'll publish more of their work in the future, stay tune!
Finally after such a long delay, I managed to get some time to sit and look at the work of another amateur Christian photographer, who graciously make her work available to use for this blog.
I had only known Edna for a very short period of time.
Just like my meeting with Julia, I had never see Edna physically, but I know one day... whether in body or in spirit, I shall see her. She is currently living in the land of beauty - New Zealand. We are so quick to exchange comments on each other blog and conversation leads to exchange of email. It's greatly encourage me to know there are many christian, most importantly - born again believer, who found this blog and be willing to help out. So, keep a look out for her pictures in the future, I'll be posting it real soon!
Finally, our first contributor has joined us. Julia, our friend in Japan gave me permission to use loads of her picture for the furtherance of spreading God's word. I would like to thank her for her kindness and generousity. You'll see more of her work sometimes soon.
